INTERNSHIPS - Color / Design House (School Credit)

IWANCIW FUNCTIONAL FUNWARE, a "color/design" house!  We are a wearable artist that works in a full fashion design/production studio and could use help in merchandising and marketing.  

In merchandising, we need a fashion intern to work with;

• Fashion awareness, studying to become a stylist/buyer/merchandiser.
• An entrepreneurial approach in their work ethic. 
• Fabric & merchandise inventory management.
• Photography, modeling, illustration.
• Digital organization of line & inventory.

  In marketing, we need a fashion intern to work with;

• Existing customers.
• Promotion, press publications.
• Specialty stores.
• Social media.
• Department stores, catalogs.
• Sales, research.

About Us:

We produce our own 100% cotton sweater knit fabric, here in the USA. We wash, then manipulate the fabric and hand dye it in our own exclusive "sky-dye" graphic dye technique. We also "nu-cycle", our own cutaway fabric into patch work, mosaic panels – “geo-patterning”. The paneled fabric is then incorporated into our finished garments for an added element of interest of hand work. When we work with cotton & color, comfort and ease of wear come to mind. We 1st use the best ingredients (yarn), to lay down the foundation (fabric), for a comfortable/ durable pullover. Once your skin connects with our work, there is the AHA moment that takes place. Our "color/design" is inspired by the great outdoors, in our exclusive "sky-dye" graphics. Best of all, our finished pieces are machine washable and can be placed in the dryer, hence – "functional funware" the merchandise concept, IWANCIW,  the brand.
